I called in an order to Rusty at about 1:30 California time on 10/01,
which BTW was very pleasurable, I mean just talking to the guy
on the phone makes me wish I lived a little closer to that part of
the world cause he sure is a likeable fellow on the phone, would
be nice to meet him in person! A few minuets later he calls back,
because during a lengthy discussion of figuring out what part number
of one of the parts I wanted, the quantity got missed. 10/02, 1:30
California time my package arrives! That's AMAZING! I don't know
where his left coast distribution point is, but it's GOT to be close!
THANKS RUSTY!

Rusty is shipping me these parts overnight to NY. He is the man, period.

A haiku I wrote whilst reassembling my car last night after
Rusty came through for me again in a BIG way:
A hot summer night,
My Mercedes on jack stands,
Rusty is the man

I ordered a new A/C compressor the other day and four days later it was
delivered to my front door and no one else would come close to Rusty's
price. I spoke to a local supposedly wholesale dealer the other day and
he could not come anywhere close to Rusty on anything. My 2 cents too.
I sure like the website.

Rusty has been the lowest on every item I have ordered.
Material cost is important, but equally important is getting WHAT I
need and getting it quickly. I know if my order gets messed up by one
of the warehouses I can make ONE phone call or send an e-mail and it
will be made right. Just my 2 cents while I'm busy getting my next
order together.

Rusty, just though youd like to see some of your parts installed on my 95
E320 Wagon:
Zimmerman X-Drilled rotors up front, PBR Metal Master Pads at all four
corners, new wear sensors all round, and a flush and fill with ATE
SuperBlue. BTW, when I took of the original pads, one set of wear sensors
had been CUT AWAY!!! The pads had no holes for the sensors and the local
shade tree mechanic must have simply cut the wires. Just goes to show
that you should do it at the dealership, a specialist, or DIY (with the
Bentley manual you provided&). Needless to say, the improvement in
performance over the stock setup was noticeable- fade free hard stops each
time, repeated stops from 80-20 with no noticeable difference.
And- shipping was fast (and FREE!) and well packed, parts fit perfectly,
and your prices were definitely the best I have found.
Thanks again,
A VERY happy customer..

Several years ago, I bought a "Bosch rebuilt" alternator. It even came in
an official Bosch rebuilt box. Out of curiosity, I disassembled it to look
at the quality of the rebuild. It was a simple wash and blast job, they had
not even bothered to change the bearings. The case had been blasted and new
regulator/brushes installed, thrown in a box and shipped.
Last year I purchased another one (guess why?) from Rusty and being very
leery of a so called rebuild, without telling Rusty I disassembled that one
too. Who ever did the rebuild on that one did an excellent job. It was as
clean as a pin inside and had all new parts installed.
I suspect that it may very well depend upon who is the so called "authorized
rebuilder".
I have never had a problem with ANY of the parts or material I purchased
from Rusty.
AutoZone, Kragen, Canyon, Mr. Part is an entirely different story.
BTW, Rusty also had the best prices, hands down.

I agree that Rusty sells the most value. I've never had a delivery problem
from him, except for the occasional "they don't have any in the States and
the parts are shipping from Germany" issue. But that's a Mercedes issue, not
a Rusty issue.
